OpenDot is starting the process to become a social impact foundation
Ten years of commitment to social innovation are becoming a structured mission for the future, alongside our manifesto.
OpenDot ha ufficialmente avviato a gennaio 2025 il percorso per trasformarsi in una Fondazione ETS (Ente del Terzo Settore). Questo passaggio, che si concluderà prossimamente con l'iscrizione al Registro Unico Nazionale del Terzo Settore (RUNTS), è in linea con la vocazione che ci ha guidato sin dalla nostra nascita nel 2014, voluta dallo studio di design multidisciplinare Dotdotdot: generare impatto sociale attraverso processi di transizione e innovazione partecipata, utilizzando come strumenti cardine il co-design, la tecnologia e la fabbricazione digitale.
We have created a manifesto to tell the story of our commitment and to share with our community the vision that guides every action we take. This manifesto reflects our belief that innovation must be a collective, inclusive, and sustainable process. Every project we develop is rooted in active participation, co-design, and listening to communities, with the goal of addressing the real needs of people.
In our journey, technology is not an end in itself, but a tool in the service of the community, to improve the quality of life, promote inclusion, and ensure sustainability. Our commitment is focused on building a more equitable future, where social innovation becomes the engine for positive and lasting change that involves not just individual projects, but the entire community and territory.
Our manifesto aims to be an invitation to work together, to create solutions that meet the needs of everyone, not just a part of society. We want a tangible impact that generates lasting benefits for the people and communities we work with.
