DIY shoes, made thanks to a co-design process between designers, makers, therapists, with the valuable support of Vibram. The project responds to the lack of beautiful, accessible and functional summer shoes capable of accommodating orthotics and corrective braces.
The result of the project, which involved families and children treated at the TOG Centre, are made-to-measure DIY shoes, customisable in colour, size, sole and midsole details. Beautiful shoes, fully listening to the children's tastes and preferences, and light, designed to contain and hide the footbed, but leaving the foot sufficiently free to favour every movement.
