OpenDot is an innovation center dedicated to making a positive impact on people and communities by addressing their real needs. We work at local and international levels, getting involved in long periods of grant funded projects with a higher number of stakeholders.

OpenDot has its internal Fab Lab - a digital fabrication laboratory; its team of designers and developers who conduct targeted research as needed; and finally, the dissemination of acquired knowledge through education and the open source philosophy.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR? 🔎

We’re currently looking for a full time junior/mid level Proposal Writer to join our team.
You will closely collaborate with our team of designers (graphic and service), developers and makers by writing, curating and developing new project proposals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 💪🏻

Searching for grant funding opportunities closed to organization’s mission and objectives
Co-designing the proposal with team members and external partners, especially with reference to calls of EU-funded programmes (ie. Horizon Europe, Creative Europe)
Collaborating in writing grant proposals
Working closely with international partners
Dealing with administrative tasks

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 🚀

• High knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• Having participated in the writing of local and/or European proposals;
• Previous experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary partners;
• Analytical capabilities, and ability to synthesize content and translate it into the application form; 
• Good ability in problem solving, able to simplify and bring clarity to challenging situations; 
• Good ability to develop complex proposals effectively;
• Ability to organize day to day activities;
• Curiosity/interest towards sustainability/social innovation topics;
• Strong creative skillset, flexibility, and out of the box thinking;

• Be a team player.

It’s a plus

Bachelor/Master degree or specialized training on European project writing and design;
Previous experience in project reporting
Previous experience in working with social innovation organizations
Ability to coordinate team and manage projects
Ability to manage budget
